Lunch with a Lizard

Charley the Lizard is my younger son's pet.  He's not very cuddly, and, unfortunately, he's not very bright either.  He is entertaining though.  I made a couple of videos of Charley and his lunch time adventures.  In this first video, Charley discovers that there is no such thing as a free lunch.



Poor Charley.  He tried four times to catch the same cricket and missed every time.  Then he went back under his flower pot house to sulk...or so I thought!  Actually, he was incorporating a cunning stealth move into his lunchtime adventure by lying in wait for his prey.


CRUNCH!   Mmmm...tasty!!   What do you know, maybe Charley is brighter than I thought he was!  

I guess it's true that good things come to those who wait.  (Well...if you consider a cricket for your lunch a GOOD thing.)
