He's Back!
When I got up this morning, I found dishes in the sink because someone had a late night snack last night. There was a laptop computer sitting on the couch plugged in and charging that wasn't there yesterday morning, and there was a basket of laundry sitting in the laundry room. These things made me smile. Why? Because all of these things mean that my older son is home from college for Thanksgiving break. I'm glad to see him and so glad to have him home. This picture is an older one of my son and me, but I like it. I wrote a poem about him coming home. It is partly based on how I used to feel when I was in college and got to come home on break and partly written to portray how I would imagine (and hope) that my son feels.
