The Beetle Invasion Is Over!

Buds, Bugs, and Bunnies

Image
Yellow daffodil buds on long green stems Silk gloved hands clasped in thankful prayer Reaching towards heaven from thin green sleeves Praising the warmth--- the joy--- the air. Crispy, wispy ladybug luck lights on my finger. Red wings rolled like a pair of dice with dots. Bet on the red, bet on the black. Everyone wins----it matters not. "Spring is here!" cries the bug with spots. Black marble eyes; soft gray ears turned to the sky, Twitching his nose and munching on a maple wing, Crouched like a furry football, white stitches on the side, Bunny ball bounces, kicking up spring.
