Rachel Bilson Biography Rachel Sarah Bilson was born August 25, 1981 in L.A. California. Rachel’s father is a director, producer and writer. With a family from a show business background that goes back to her screenwriter great-grandma (Hattie Bilson) and film director grandpa (Bruce Bilson), Rachel actively performed on school productions, such as “Bye Bye Birdie,” “Once Upon a Mattress,” and “The Crucible” while attended Notre Dame High School.
