Raquel Alessi has been pursuing an acting career since she was a young girl. Raquel Alessi made her professional debut in 1990 with a small but pivotal role in the TV miniseries Lucky/Chances, which was based on the book series by Jackie Collins. On the show, Raquel played the 6-year-old version of one of the central characters -- Raquel Alessi's adult counterpart was Sandra Bullock. Realizing the importance of having a normal childhood, Raquel then removed herself from the industry until 1997’s Uncle Sam -- a low-budget horror flick revolving around a blood-thirsty murderer who hides his true identity under an Uncle Sam costume. It was around that time that Raquel Alessi decided to devote her time to performing and consequently enrolled in the acting program at prestigious New York University.
