Went to see Season of the Witch




Went to see Season of the Witch (Dominic Sena, 2011). Unspeakable French title Le dernier des templiers. Yet another terrible movie with Nicolas Cage. I can understand that he needs or loves money, OK, some of the best people make potboilers, but why does he systematically pick the shittiest of the shitty? It's as if his agent told him, right, I know you love being in really abominable movies, so why not do a good one every, say, three years, like Bad Lieutenant, and the rest of the time you can do those lamentable ones, with your half bewildered half I've-seen-it-all expression, and, what, laugh all the way to the bank? People will end up forgetting he's actually a good actor. The only good thing about Season of the Witch is Robert Sheehan (Misfits).
