Watched DVD: Kick-Ass


November 17, 2010. Watched DVD: Kick-Ass (Matthew Vaughn, 2010). Didn't really enjoy it. I don't know if it's because I've been a superhero aficionado for decades, but the "real-life" superhero notion doesn't do much for me. I guess some of the jokes are amusing. Nicolas Cage less ridiculous in that than in some of his latest pot-boiling roles. British Aaron Johnson acts well and has splendid eyes.
