Homecoming Week
It has been Homecoming Week all this week at my son's high school. They had special events scheduled for each day. Every day had a different theme for dress up.
One of the days the theme was "Cowboys and Indians." My son didn't have much in the way of clothing that looked like cowboy gear, but he decided that this hat would work well enough. His girlfriend, dressed in a former Halloween costume as an Indian, was cute as could be, I thought.

Last night was the big football game, of course, which our team won to the delight of the large local crowd. Tonight is the big Homecoming Dance. My son and his girlfriend got all dressed up for the dance. Their excitement was contagious. It made me wish I was the one getting all dressed up to go out dancing.
He's fifteen and half years old. He will be able to start driver's training next month. * * * * *
