Went to see Solo un padre (Luca Lucini, 2008), in Rome on July 22. With Luca Argentero. Charming Italian movie, sentimental, sometimes funny. Great cinema: in the open, al fresco, at Piazza Vittorio Emanuele II (in the park with people's dogs and the warm evening breeze). [Thx Max Mag for pic]

No 211 - Moulin Rouge! Director - Baz Luhrmann I remember very vividly when I first saw this film. I was in sixth form when it came out, and was a student of 'Theatre Studies', so there was naturally a lot of talk about this overtly theatrical piece.
