Smiley Sunday--Spring Trees

It was chilly and windy today and sprinkled rain off and on with the temperature in the middle forties. In between the times it was raining, I managed to get a short walk in. It is still too early for most of the spring trees to be out in bloom here yet, but I did find just a few blossoming in the park today. They were enough to make me smile.

From a distance, the trees pictured above looked almost like they had pink clouds of smoke sitting on their branches.

The flowers on the branches are a delicate pink and white.

If I could freeze time, I would definitely make it be spring year around.

This little white blossoming tree below was farther down on the path in the park.

It looked like an umbrella to me.
So, of course, I had to go and stand underneath of it
just to see what that was like.

This is the view looking out while standing next to the tree trunk.

It was like a lacy flower veil.
