During the summer months, cruise-ins are held around the square downtown every Thursday night where I live. These are fun, casual events where barbecued chicken and lemonade and other goodies are available to enjoy. All ages walk around the square looking at the cars on display and talking to the owners of the vehicles. Music from the 50's and 60's is played over the intercom at the square for everyone to listen to during the cruise-in too. This bright yellow coupe is one of the cars that was on display at a cruise-in last summer.
My father owned two antique cars that he restored and drove in parades and took to car shows when I was a young girl. So whenever I see an antique or classic car, I think of him.
