Eric from the Speedcat Hollydale Page has threatened to toss me into a dungeon without a key if I don't pick up this countdown meme from him that he has tagged me with. Well, I REALLY don't want to spend Christmas in a dungeon, so I thought I better get this done. Here's the countdown.

1. Stop coming to my door and asking me to buy new windows and siding from you!! (while shaking my fist in the air)
2. I wish you weren't so far away.
3. Oh come on, play the drums for me. Please?
4. No. I don't want to bake cookies for the bake sale.
5. You know, you catch more flies with honey than you do with vinegar. (Although, I've never figured out why anyone would want to catch ONE fly, let alone MORE of them!)

5. One of my pet peeves is when people do not push their chairs back up to a table when they get up to leave. Whether it is at a restaurant, at the library where I work, or in my own kitchen, they leave the chair sitting way out from the table in the pathway of anyone who just wants to get by. Really. Is it that hard to just push the chair back up to the table and make room for other people!!
6. I used to frequently climb a big old maple tree in the back yard of my childhood home when I was little, even up into my teenage years.
7. My mother taught me how to sew and how to crochet when I was eight years old.
8. In college, I was required to take three physical education courses for the completion of my degree. I chose classes in yoga, jazz dance, and aerobic dance.

5. Why can't anyone but me remember to put more Diet Pepsi in the refrigerator when the last cold one is taken out?
6. What am I going to put in my blog today?
7. I need more hours in the day.
1. Let the dog outside one last time.
2. Say goodnight to family members and to however many extra teenagers are still hanging around the house if there are any.
3. Lock the doors and turn off the lights.
4. Brush my teeth and take care of other bathroom duties.
5. Put on a nightgown or pajamas and robe and slippers.
6. Make sure the alarm clock is set for the next day, if need be, or turned off, if it is not needed, and put my glasses on the headboard of the bed so I can find them easily the next morning.
