Watching TV series: Sanctuary. One has to make do with what one can (how one misses Buffy!) Funny seeing Stargate's Amanda Tapping with dark hair. She's allowed to be more British here. Canadian Robin Dunne quite charming. Some episodes are more thrilling than others. And the way they integrate historical characters and events sometimes works (Tesla, Jack the Ripper...)

No 211 - Moulin Rouge! Director - Baz Luhrmann I remember very vividly when I first saw this film. I was in sixth form when it came out, and was a student of 'Theatre Studies', so there was naturally a lot of talk about this overtly theatrical piece.
